About this job
Schmidt Construction, part of the Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Crew Truck Driver to work at our Delta location in Colorado Springs, CO. The Crew Truck Driver is responsible for hauling water and skid steers to and from the jobsites.
Pay: $23-30
Shift: 7am-5pm Nights and Weekends

Responsibilities
The Crew Truck Driver will:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Check and maintain fluid levels
- Haul skid steer and tools to and from jobsite
- Make sure propane bottles on truck are full
- Account for all tools on truck
- Work physical labor on job site
- Write up or communicate repair requests to mechanics
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Tankers and Air Brake Endorsement (Or ability to obtain)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver's license
- Lifts up to fifty (50) pounds
- Sits, stands, and walks for extended period of time
- Occasional pushing, pulling and/or prying
- Good visual acuity, depth perception and eye-hand coordination
- Able to detect differences between sounds that vary in pitch and loudness
- Operates motor vehicle
- Works in environment with noise and temperature variations
