An entry level position for a high energy, detail oriented and organized individual pursing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field of study. This role will focus on projects related to inventory management, strategic procurement, and production scheduling. The Supply Chain Intern will report to the Materials Manager and/or Division Supply Chain Manager to make contributions in support of our service to customers and the company's Win Strategy. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

1. Perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities that will include cross-functional experience.

2. Monthly analysis of raw materials to determine Kanban size and weekly audits of cards and process flow.

3. Review, approve, and process purchase orders for raw materials on a Kanban, including order acknowledgements and expedites.

4. Schedule raw material manufacturing cell based on demand from customers and three intercompany requirements using Mainframe ERP System and Chomerics MRP System.

5. Participate in Delivery Star Point team to drive delivery improvements within the Business Unit.

6. Perform weekly cycle counts of raw materials and components to ensure inventory accuracy.

1. Currently enrolled in, or completed degree in related field, such as: Business Administrations, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management.

2. Candidate shall have completed sophomore year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

3. Ability to work in person from June 2022 - August 2022 full-time.

4. Ability to work effectively in a variety of environments and assignments.

5. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

6. Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
