Analyzes, plans, and controls the inventory levels, schedules andallocations of manufactured, purchased, and furnished materials.Analyzes and integrates bills of material, master schedules, andresources to determine demand. Authorizes acquisition or manufacture ofproduct to satisfy demand and dispose of residual materials. Coordinateswith customers, suppliers, and manufacturing to monitor and maintainlead time and schedules. Develops and implements strategies andmethodologies within ordering policy.
