Risk & Compliance Specialist I - Non Remote

The Risk and Compliance Specialist I is a support role for the Risk Management, Compliance, and Bank Security functions of the bank. Tasks range from ongoing monitoring, periodic reporting, facilitating Risk Assessment meetings and projects. This position will work closely with the risk and compliance professionals to ensure that the bank operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies to mitigate risks and maintain regulatory compliance.

*This position is 100% onsite at the Main Street location in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Assists the Risk Management function by:

• Facilitate Risk Assessment sessions using Logic Manager and perform associated monitoring of follow-up items (YES Reports) and provide final reports to management
• Supporting the Director of Risk Management with various aspects of the bank's insurance process
• Supporting the Director of Risk Management with various aspects of the vendor management process
• Serving as the bank's point person for all department procedures and managing the database of procedures using N-Comply
• Serve as the Secretary of the Business Resumption Committee and assist the Director of Risk Management with various Business Resumption tasks

Supports the Deposit and Loan Compliance functions by:

• Assisting with the collection and organization of HMDA data using N-Contracts
• Performing data entry and pulling reports for CRA
• Performing basic compliance monitoring
• Assisting with the preparation of documentation and providing support for audits and exams
• Performing research and special projects as assigned
• Attending seminars to broaden knowledge of compliance as well as keep abreast of regulatory changes

Serves as an assistant to the Security / BSA Officer by:

• Compiling Currency Transaction Reports and file on a timely basis
• Assisting with monitoring of the CIP program and Customer Due Diligence
• Acting as a backup to the Security Officer for operation of the bank's alarm, building access and camera systems
• Assisting with Information Security, BSA and Security audits

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in committees as requested and serve as a backup to the compliance officers in committee meetings when absent
• Assist with new hire training as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned
