YOUR PURPOSE:

The HRIS Enterprise Solutions Lead will work as part of the Lennar HRIS team and will be responsible for leading efforts and complex projects pertaining to the Workday HCM system. This incumbent needs to be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Workday Absence and Time Tracking, Business Processes, Security, Reporting and Configuration with extensive knowledge in the areas of Performance and Talent. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for the mentioned functional areas and assists the functional subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, requirements gathering, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. They will also support and manage the Workday semi-annual updates, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the application security strategy for Lennar's Workday platforms. In addition to, they will work closely with business partners, analysts, and cross functional teams to translate security requirements, recommend, and implement business processes and existing system configuration improvements. They will also manage, provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, and mentorship to junior team members.



Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to conduct high level needs analysis and produce reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to create a consolidated report by combining data from multiple data sources
  • Gather requirements for Workday reports and will analyze, design, and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields)
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrate ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
  • Develop test cases and peer review code of other developers
  • Manage Workday feature release updates and enhancements
  • Provide production support and respond to issues and incidents in a timely manner
  • Develops the security design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday security into production
  • Creates and maintains test scenarios and materials relating to all Workday modules
  • Participates in the development, validation and execution of comprehensive test plans
  • Performs audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy
  • Participates in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Creates, edits and removes organization security roles for the system and provides support for issues relating to all security in Workday
  • Will govern, trouble-shoot and configure HR business processes and validation rules in Workday
  • Thoroughly understands business processes, condition rules and calculated fields
  • Recommend best practices related to Workday Absence and Time Tracking functionality
  • Responsible for conducting and managing system testing for upgrades, UAT testing for customizations and/or other changes
  • Adept at working on multiple concurrent projects independently
  • Capable of educating, coaching, and overseeing the activities of less experienced staff and other team members
  • Identifies and documents business and technical requirements using standard templates
  • Monitors effectiveness of current business practices and identifies areas for improvement/innovation. Has exceptional skills and expertise of business processes, and IT systems related to application security
  • Exhibits strong facilitation and communication skills both written and oral and interacts with technical and business personnel
  • Ensure compliance with technical best practices, standards and policies
  • Apply industry best practices in environment controls and change management
  • Apply in-depth technical analysis to solve system and application issues
  • Mentor junior team members by developing their strengths, transferring knowledge and leadership skills
  • Responsible for providing recommendations to senior management for process and/or system improvements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of experience designing and supporting Workday HCM in a corporate HRIS/IT role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Workday Pro Certified preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficient in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields and Dashboards
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical analysis software packages)
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external resources
  • Completion of Workday training preferred
  • Workday certification is a huge plus
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills with high regard to confidentiality
  • Ability to learn quickly; self-motivated; high energy; strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow up on assignments and a good sense of judgement
  • Positive attitude
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Organized and detail oriented

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% travel time is required.
