Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and integration of the Sunbelt platform with external partners to drive operational automation and efficiency
  • Lead the development of business process integrations into our ServiceNow instance, including ITBM, GRC, HR Delivery, CSM, and ITSM
  • Lead the coordination, design, and execution of integrating standard LDAP & 3rd party apps into the ServiceNow environment.
  • Implement scripted web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow
  • Customize workflows, code business rules and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create custom applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform
  • Develop scripts and codes for API's and webservice integrations
  • Configure roles, permissions, business rules, and UI policies for ServiceNow
  • Complete functional/technical designs and associated estimates to meet defined requirements
  • Lead development in an Agile methodology
  • Work with administrators and process owners to solution business process workflows using the baseline ServiceNow configurations
  • Assist with ServiceNow resources on patching, hotfixes, platform upgrades, platform testing related to new and existing platform capabilities/functionality
  • Assist with standard daily, weekly, monthly maintenance, and overall system health checks
  • Assist with routine set updates within the system for all changes made
  • Maintain design documentation (requirements, design documents, build, deployment, install guides) and process standards along with regular audits to validate accuracy
  • Stay up to date with the latest releases and product enhancements
  • Present new product developments to key stakeholders

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and 5+ years work experience
  • ServiceNow Developer certification
  • ITIL v3 certification highly preferred
  • Ability to develop/configure and enhance core applications including, but not limited to, platform UIs, service portal, mobile app, tables, forms, lists, catalogs, workflows, roles, properties, business rules, ACLs, dashboards, homepages, and reports
  • Strong ability to design, build and deliver workflows and service catalog items
  • Strong understanding of CSDM and CMDB, including integrating, importing data using asset discovery tools
  • Advanced understanding of the use of development, test, and production environments
  • Expert in update set creation and system cloning
  • Skilled in developing custom end-user Service Portals through the internal design process
  • Knowledgeable of customizing email notification templates, SLA definitions, and form fields
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development cycle environments

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $100,896.00 - 138,732.00
