Responsibilities

  • Support the Division President in day-to-day activities.
  • Create correspondence or documents, prepare reports including tracking of sales and realtor activities. Provide analysis as required.
  • Assist with sales releases and update pricing in SalesForce and JD Edwards.
  • Work with Sales Team to build inventory homes in SalesForce and set up custom options as needed.
  • Arrange meetings and other Division activities, schedule accordingly.
  • Support day-to-day sales and/or marketing activities, including assisting with budget preparation and control.
  • Work with regional marketing to create/proof sales assets and update as needed.
  • Assist with new community set up including ordering all signage.
  • Assist in coordinating supply orders, office equipment, new hire set-up and marketing materials as needed. May require making copies of sales assets and delivery of items or equipment to each Community.
  • Assist in the start-up and maintenance of Models/Welcome Home Center for each Community, place equipment orders, coordinate contractors and marketing samples, and work with interior decorators/designers.
  • Attend all New Home Community openings and functions as needed.
  • Utilize the company's systems, including but not limited to SalesForce, JD Edwards, and BuildPro.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • One (1) years of administrative assistant experience in homebuilding preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required; college or business school degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, and JD Edwards system experience preferred
  • Accurate typing 50-60 wpm
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining professional attitude
  • Must be able to adhere to fluctuating work schedules and varying work locations
  • Must be able to work independently as this may be a position that works remotely and not in an office setting; also must be able to take direction from manager & team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must possess ability to handle priorities under pressure
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality regarding company/associate information
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Team player
  • Position may require working weekends if necessitated by a scheduled event

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry office materials and supplies weighing twenty (25) pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Must be able to travel to different communities and office locations when needed. May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
