Seneca Holdings is seeking a Financial Operations Manager in our Chantilly, VA office. This role will report directly to the CFO. The Financial Operations Manager will support the departments within the CFO organization and will define, plan, and execute against the strategic priorities for our organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong financial acumen and hands-on experience using Costpoint for project accounting and financial management.
  • Conceptualize and incubate strategic areas of focus.
  • Identify gaps in operations effectiveness and develop workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Ability to document business processes, requirements, and create functional design specifications.
  • Work with leadership to gather business requirements and break them down into relevant, accurate, and detailed functional requirements, process diagrams, problem statements, and use cases.
  • Engage with CFO organization and Seneca Holdings leadership team to enhance maturity in business operations.
  • Manage the CFO organization engagement and involvement with enterprise initiatives.
  • Manage tasks, action items, risks, issues, and schedules while collaborating with stakeholders to drive projects forward.
  • Operate as a self-starter and creative thinker who can manage a considerable amount of real-world data and be comfortable thinking about solving problems.
  • Own creation and implementation of success metrics that measure the performance of the organization, and drive predictability in operations, planning, goals setting, strategic initiatives, as well as reporting and success measuring of the key internal initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Must have 10+ years of related experience and demonstrated experience and previous success leading organizational initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting for government contractors.
  • Committed to listening and collaborating.
  • Experience working with executives and internal customers.
  • Capability to plan and set priorities, identify, and resolve problems, and produce measurable results.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of proficiency and experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Proficiency using MS office Suite including SharePoint.
