Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate must have an active Oregon license along with recent or current hospital experience. This will start asap.
Employment Type: Travel
Position: Staff Pharmacist
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Prepare and dispense medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outes.
- Monitor patient medication regimens for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse reactions.
- Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient care conferences.
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and documentation.
- Ensure pliance with state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practices and controlled substances.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active pharmacy license in the state of Oregon, or ability to obtain licensure.
- Prior experience working as a pharmacist in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical principles.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Demonstrated mitment to patient safety and quality of care.
