Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

Soliant seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in the Athens, Alabamaarea. The successful candidate will work in a school-based setting, providing one-on-one behavioral support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress towards individualized goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans
  • Provide support during academic instruction and help students generalize skills across various settings
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
