Job Summary

• The Surgical Technologist provides technical surgical care to patients in support of care as directed by the physician and in accordance with established hospital goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
• The Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing specified services for surgical patients under the direction and supervision of the Director or Coordinator.
• The Surgical Technologist is responsible for acting in capacity as directed by the Director, Manager and/or Team lead.

Education and/or Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• CST program, Surgical Technologist/Technician Degree, or Surgical assistant program or equivalent.
• Experience of one or more years as scrub member of surgical team is preferred, but not required.

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

• Eligible for or have CST certification.

 Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, every 6th weekend/holiday/call; 80 hours every 2 weeks.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $23.25 - $34.00 per hour
