Trioma Inc., a U.S.-based company that seeks to work with U.S. allies to fill the gap in strategic outreach to frontier and developing markets in the defense sector, is seeking to hire qualified sales associate in Washington D.C.


Duties:


  • Develop a database of high-level contacts who can serve as potential clients of the company
  • Attend industry events and conferences to learn about the market and to develop strategic-level with customers and other stakeholders with the aim of developing competitive market positions.
  • Conduct regular research to inform leadership of market trends
  • Develop and drive execution of a sales plan, consistent with overall strategic company plans. The sales plan should be derived from an understanding of market mapping, industry and regulatory roadmaps, key customers and their value drivers, and company capabilities and limitations.
  • Define, execute, and constantly refine customer acquisition strategy with team and leadership.
  • Competitive Intelligence. Manage collection and assessment of market trends. Identify and assess competitors in our market areas.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and curiosity about foreign affairs and national security issues.
  • Experience in business development, preferably with high-level foreign clients
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must have professional command of at least one foreign language, with French and Spanish preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent in work experience
