The candidate, in the performance of the job function, will lead development of complex project schedules in support of proposals and active programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Highlights

• Supports SES Director of Programs in oversight of on-contract program cost and schedule performance

• Execute divisional and corporate initiatives to define and/or refine program operations processes for improved efficiency, accuracy, and reporting

• Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with internal customers.

• Maintain division wide financial tracker for divisional operations and reporting

Program Management

• Supports and the work of program management, engineering operations, and lab, from a divisional perspective.

• Monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions, through the PMO, working closely with the Director of Programs, Engineering Director, and Technical Director.

• Supports a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal organizations.

• Measuring and reporting program performance, including delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.

• Track contract backlog and report to Corporate Executives on backlog and project status.

Proposal Development

• Incorporate proposed work into divisional resource planning; provide continuity in the transition-to-execution phase of program start-up

• Support the full spectrum of business development activities and lead the production of proposals, quotes and ROM estimates working closely with Business Unit President, Director of Programs, Technical Director, and Engineering Director.

Leadership

• Support divisional strategic planning; forecasting and budgeting; policy and process development

• Provide steady, consistent leadership and guidance across the Company; exemplify Trident values; promote open communications; and exert a positive sustaining influence on the Trident work environment and culture.

• Exercise sound judgment and be responsible for the welfare of the Company.

• Maintain an effective leadership posture and promote a healthy Trident Corporate culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: Bachelors’ degree in related field, Masters preferred

Years of Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in program management and/or divisional leadership

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong financial management and planning skills

• Strong MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point

• Excel – Establish and maintain various calculation models

• Word – Creating and updating documents for delivery to the customer, provide to subcontractors for direction, and respond to internal requirements for documentation

• Power Point – Creating presentations for program status, design reviews and other meetings both internally and externally

• Project – Establish and maintain schedules in support of special projects and proposals to show critical path, tracks milestones, and can be used for reporting internally and externally

• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills to convey issues clearly and effectively, status reports, risk assessment, quality management, data validation, and interface with a highly technical engineering and leadership staff
