PREP Securities manages the selling group of third-party broker-dealer firms that raise capital for offerings sponsored by PREP Property Group.

Regional Vice President - External Wholesaler

The Regional Vice President is responsible for representation of PREP through delivery of product information, investment updates, and telling the PREP story within their assigned territory. The RVP will work to develop and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries, including independent broker-dealers and RIA’s. The RVP will be measured on capital raising efforts within their geographic territory, as well as activity metrics that include proactive phone calls and face-to-face meetings. We’re currently seeking candidates that are established with substantial contacts in the West (likely CA, OR, WA, NV UT ID), Northeast (likely NY, MA, NJ, CT, DE, MD) and Southeast (likely FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, MS, AL) United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support the initial go-to-market strategy for new offerings and ongoing sales efforts for current funds in collaboration with internal/external sales and marketing teams
  • Develop a refined sales approach that reflects PREP’s unique strategic advantages
  • Cultivate new sales opportunities and further develop existing financial advisor relationship and programs in assigned territory and channels
  • Identify client needs and coordinate efforts to service assigned intermediaries
  • Conduct sales promotion and product training meetings for assigned intermediaries and existing or prospective shareholders
  • Collaborate with internal support and investment management associates to ensure coverage, support, and follow-up
  • Work in conjunction with an internal resources and external teams to accelerate the business plan for the territory
  • Travel throughout their assigned territory, requiring overnight hotel stays and air travel

Education / Experience Requirements:

The Regional Vice President must have an understanding of and passion for investments, the sales process, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills. He or she must also have excellent organizational and follow-up skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Moreover, the Wholesaler must demonstrate professional presence, poise, strong presentation skills, and a high level of energy and motivation.

  • Must possess a high level of financial proficiency, including the ability to read, analyze and interpret complex financial reports
  • Minimum 5 years financial services experience, with minimum 2 years of internal/outside wholesaling/sales experience
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be extremely motivated and have demonstrated sales success
  • Must be PC proficient and comfortable presenting with technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment
