Warehouse Worker

Nexeo HR is seeking a Warehouse Worker. In this role, the candidate will work in managing the inventory and distribution of electrical products within a warehouse setting. Responsible for sourcing, stocking, and delivering electrical supplies to meet the needs of internal and external customers, this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of electrical products and inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

•Maintain accurate records of electrical products and supplies, including stock levels, replenishment orders, and inventory tracking, using warehouse management systems or other relevant software.

•Identify and source electrical products from suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure timely availability and cost-effective procurement.

•Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of electrical supplies, verifying quantities, quality, and compliance with specifications before stocking items in designated warehouse locations.

•Process customer orders for electrical products, picking items from inventory, packaging orders securely, and preparing shipments for delivery or pickup according to established procedures.

•Coordinate the delivery or dispatch of electrical supplies to internal departments, customers, or job sites, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery using appropriate transportation methods and logistics providers.

•Conduct periodic quality inspections of electrical products to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements, addressing any discrepancies or issues as needed.

•Provide responsive and professional customer service to internal departments and external customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations or alternatives as necessary.

•Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, order fulfillment activities, and customer interactions, generating reports and documentation as required for inventory reconciliation, billing, and reporting purposes.

•Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling, storing, and transporting electrical supplies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment to minimize safety hazards and risks.

Qualifications

•Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or electrical supply distribution is advantageous.

•Knowledge of electrical products, components, and terminology, with the ability to identify and categorize items accurately.

•Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office applications for data entry, inventory management, and reporting tasks.

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

•Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

•Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification may be required for handling and moving heavy or bulky electrical supplies.

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour

Schedule

8:00am – 5:00pm | Monday – Friday
