We’re looking for passionate Electrical and Electronics Engineers who are interested in designing and prototyping greenfield edge mesh networks and computing.

In this role, you will lead a small team of engineers to rapidly prototype electronics for a next-gen logistics tracking infrastructure. You will work closely with a team of talented researchers and engineers to continuously refine these prototypes’ design and capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in the design, sourcing of materials, and building of prototypes.
  • Conduct research on current and emerging trends in electronics design and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs to inform prototypes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the electrical analysis, design and schematic.
  • Ensure design is compliant with any relevant regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and problem-solving approaches.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in PCB design or related fields, including routing and layout.
  • Experience designing and prototyping electronic systems.
  • Experience with processor selection and system integration.
  • Experience with handling practical concerns of systems such as grounding/shielding, EMI mitigation, signal integrity, power integrity.
  • Experience with PCB design tools like Autodesk Fusion 360 or Siemens Xpedition.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation software such as LTSpice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in PCB design or related fields.
  • Experience with low power wireless communication and designing for low power systems.
  • Experience with mixed digital/analog circuit design.
  • Experience in sensor design and integration.
  • Experience leading teams.
