Location: Shiprock, New Mexico 87420

Employment Type: Full-time, 26-week contract

Shift: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights (36/48-hour rotation)

Charting System: Federal Health Charting System

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $64/hr

A leading healthcare facility located in Shiprock, NM, dedicated to providing exceptional care to women of all ages is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a 26-week contract basis. Their Women's Health department focuses on delivering comprehensive services tailored to meet the unique needs of women across their lifespan.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to women across the lifespan, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care.
  • Perform assessments, screenings, and examinations to identify health needs and risks specific to women's health.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Educate patients on various aspects of women's health, including prenatal care, family planning, and preventive screenings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the Federal Health Charting System.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in women's health nursing
  • Proficiency in Federal Health Charting System preferred
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
