Salary Range: $41,600 to $58,240 per year based on qualifications
Job Type: Full Time position (40 hrs/wk)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am- 5pm

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator/ HR Assistant
Summary:
The Talent Aquisition Coordinator / HR Assistant assists the HR department with regular operations of human resources and is primarily responsible for coordinating and conducting recruitment and hiring processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruits and interviews candidates; provides management with hiring recommendations
Develops, updates and maintains relevant and thorough interview questions for multiple job types/ levels.
Creates and provides resources/supports for co-workers before & during panel interviews
Coordinates hiring process, including but not limited to, conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers, and issuing job confirmation letters, and other internal communication
Coordinates programs to attract qualified candidates through the design and placement of hiring announcements, advertising, and/or participation in job fairs
Responds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs
Assists with the distribution/communication of ongoing HR projects including but not limited to employee handbook, open enrollment, and employee recognition
Supports and assists with creation and maintenance of job descriptions for use in hiring, onboarding, and offboarding employees
Assists HR department with development of company policies and procedures, employee onboarding, annual review process, etc.
Assists with employee-relations activities including but not limited to interpretation and explanation of company policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs
Assists in administration of company compensation and benefits programs
Responsible for pre-employment communication, on-boarding, and continued support for new hires
Proactively establishes, and maintains a highly organized system for talent acquisition management
Displays basic understanding of duties, tasks, and scheduling needs of employees
Shows professionalism and treats confidential information with appropriate discretion
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or equivalent
Two to four years related experience in HR, operations, office management, recruiting, or related field
SHRM, PHR, or an equivalent qualification preferred
Experience in recruiting and staffing
Proficient on Slack, Monday.com or similar project management tools (Asana, Trello, ect.)
Experience with ADP (or equivalent HR software)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel) or similar (GSuite - Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Quick typing speed
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Driver’s license in good standing and ability to travel between local locations
Access to personal vehicle required
Some travel is required
Acute attention to detail
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able and motivated to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
Must be able to sit for up to eight hours per day, type on the computer for several hours a day, talk on the phone frequently throughout the day, stand for up to 8 hours at events or offsite venues, and climb stairs multiple times throughout the day
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires prolonged periods of standing or sitting, ability to climb a set of stairs multiple times per day, constant communication with colleagues, hearing and talking
May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment and requires working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods of time
Involves manual dexterity for using the keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Occasionally required to move/reach, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel

Surroundings. You’ll be working inside in a light warehouse environment. Light warehouse means no heavy machinery. You will be in proximity to rolling carts, moving dollies, and hefty bins
Activity. Some activities may require standing or sitting for long periods, walking around, crouching or squatting, and lifting. We provide resources, tools, and safety training for all of the above
Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
