Essential Functions- Operate oscilloscopes, RF signal generators, function synthesizers, spectrum analyzers, receivers, power meters and digital volt meters.
- Operate various antennas for Frequency Protection and monitoring.
- Operate and perform Direction finding of RF signals using the Rohde & Schwarz DF/Monitoring system.
- Determine malfunctions and troubleshoot to the unit replacement level and return equipment to operational condition.
- Climb towers.
- Work with their hands and use hand tools
- Prepare and maintain Master Station Logs, Frequency Clearance/Protection checklists.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to make decisions based on the information at their disposal
- Attention to detail is a critical requirement
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to exercise diplomacy within a team environment
- Associates Degree in Electronics Technology, or equivalent Military training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of two years electronics technician related experience
- Experience with operating a computer and Microsoft Office programs
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- The flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
- Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement
- This position is assigned to Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.

The hourly rate for this role is $29.56 - $36.92; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
