Pro Shop Supervisor - Golf Operations – Little Ocmulgee State Park / Wallace Adams Golf Course

Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge / Wallace Adams Golf Course, located in Helena, Georgia, is looking for a Pro Shop Supervisor. We offer a culture that focuses on teamwork and high levels of customer service with an environment that empowers our team members to exceed guests' expectations.

Little Ocmulgee State Park has a lodge with 60 rooms, 10 lake-side cabins, 54 camp sites, a beautiful 265-acre lake. At the lodge we have a restaurant and a grille/bar, and conference rooms. Throughout the park there is mini golf, nature trails, fishing, and an 18 hole golf course. We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

· Have full understanding of POS system used in the Pro Shop operations.

· Organizes and maintains tee sheet and third-party reservations. Participates in Yield Management of the golf course

· Participates in the preparation of the annual budgets for golf operations.

· Orders supplies for the Pro Shop.

· Maintain attractive, orderly appearance in the pro shop and offices. Assists in retail orders, displays and sales goals.

· Supervises pro shop staff as well as maintenance of golf carts.

· Provide training and a good work environment for all staff.

· Maintains and supervises cart barn and club storage facility.

· Organizes and conducts club tournaments and outings.

· Interprets and enforces golf rules and regulations.

· Interprets and enforces club policies, rules and regulations.

· Provide first class member service.

· Performs at all times in a professional manner. Must be a team player.

· Monitor tee sheet on a daily basis and ensure accurate record keeping of club assets.

· Abide by the employee handbook, service systems and SOP manuals

· Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

· Monitors weather conditions and reacts accordingly.

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of golf and previous management experience is required. Previous experience in a Pro Shop environment is preferred.
