Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates, P.C. is hiring Full-time Ophthalmic Technicians for all of our Northern Virginia offices. NVOA is a high quality, busy practice with 18 doctors and three office sites.

The candidate will be responsible for providing doctor assistance, performing diagnostic tests, and administering treatment as allowed and ordered by the physicians.

Hours are Mon-Fri with no weekends, with paid major holidays following successful completion of first 90 days on the job.

Must have a pleasant personality, good communication skills- both written and oral, be detail-oriented, a positive team player, dedicated and motivated. Ability to maintain patient flow. Strong organization skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of medical and ophthalmic terminology.

Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel as needed to all office locations.

Requirements

All candidates for consideration should have:

  • Ophthalmic Tech experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
