MAINTENANCE MECHANIC JOB AVAILABLE IN LAKELAND, FL Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Lakeland, FL. As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be: Following all company mandated safety policies. Operating Powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures. Observing vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts & accessories. Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites. Involvement in equipment repair & rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic & mechanical aspects of Fusion equipment. Maintaining Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts Following proper check in & check out producers for rental equipment & accessories. Following housekeeping policies. Operating of power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc. This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Prior mechanical experience is preferred but not required, training provided. Ability to lift upwards of 75lbs. Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools. Experience in operation of power industrial trucks / forklifts. The ability to work in a shop or field environment. Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment. The ability to thrive in an inclusive environment. Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
