Position Summary:

Marketing Associate assists the credit union in growth efforts by developing and executing the Marketing / Communication Plan.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No direct reports.

Essential Functions:

• Involved in copywriting for web site features, social media, products and services, press releases, video scripts, print publications, advertising, and other projects.
• Serves as a contributor and backup in the development and maintenance of marketing projects and design.
• Maintains on and off-site inventory and fulfillment of marketing supply requests by branches and other departments.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Demonstrated dedication to positive, member-focus service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, or related software.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Two plus years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop, preferably within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of marketing principles.
