About this job

Results for Development (R4D) is a leading non-profit global development partner. We collaborate with change agents around the world - government officials, civil society leaders and social innovators - to create strong systems that support healthy, educated people. We help our partners move from knowing their goal to knowing how to reach it. We combine global expertise in health, education and nutrition with analytic rigor, practical support for decision-making and implementation and access to peer problem-solving networks. Together with our partners, we build self-sustaining systems that serve everyone and deliver lasting results. Then we share what we learn so others can achieve results for development, too.

We have a unique and vibrant culture at R4D. Diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of our work environment and help advance our mission. Diversity-of ideas, identities, perspectives and backgrounds-is vital to who we are and what we do. We seek people who embrace these values and will help reinforce them. Our work culture is collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial. We operate based on trust and respect. Teams across the organization frequently collaborate on programmatic work and support each other in continuously building a better R4D.

is a six-year global initiative led by R4D and funded by USAID with co-funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates and Rockefeller Foundations that expedites progress toward universal health coverage (UHC) in low- and middle-income countries.
The program advances equity, quality, and resource optimization by supporting local leaders to apply a systems lens to complex health systems issues, connecting local innovation and global knowledge, strengthening local ownership and system improvement processes, and building countries' ability to drive lasting health system improvements.
The Accelerator is responsive to local priorities and works on a range of health system issues - from improving health financing and strengthening community health to integrating rehabilitation, mental health, and psychosocial support services into primary health care.

Introduction
The Accelerator will develop a podcast or similar product that summarizes learning on equity from across the project and delves into selected approaches to making health systems more equitable and responsive to the needs of vulnerable and marginalized populations. The episodes (approximately 3) will voice various perspectives, from global experts to those on the ground in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs), aiming to expand listeners' understanding of health equity and ways to make the health system more equitable from the processes undertaken to the outcomes achieved.
