We are currently seeking a Private Banking Support Team Member that will assist in the administration and management of Private Banking client relationships. Private Banking Support is responsible for the delivery of an exceptional client experience and the execution of client operational and servicing needs. This Support associate partners with the Private Banking officer to provide support for all private banking deposits and lending products, the facilitation of all account management and maintenance, and provides tracking and reporting for private banking market teams. By definition, a Private Banking (Private Elite) client is required to maintain total deposit balances of $250,000 or more in qualified accounts at Old National. Qualified accounts include personal and business deposit accounts (checking, savings, money market and time deposits), investments and trust assets held at Old National with the same "Owner(s)" as the Private Banking checking account. Business deposits qualify if client is a 25% owner of the business and tracked as a beneficial owner on the account. An alternative pathway to receive Private Banking benefits/services is through Old National's Private Prestige program, a step-up program which is designed for emerging professionals in certain qualifying professions and who are within the first 10 years of starting their career. Clients in this program have 10 years from the account opening date to qualify for Private Elite status.

Key Accountabilities

Organizational and Administrative Support

    Provides high level of organizational and administrative support to the Private Banking group. Includes maintaining client files and records; completing all required BSA high risk reporting; preparing client mailings; engagement with internal departments to effectively manage client's relationship.
  • Responsible for the opening and onboarding of new deposit and loan accounts; tracking of all maturing loan and time deposit accounts; assisting in annual client eligibility reviews.
  • Inputs, prepares and processes loan documentation. This may include input of loan application, engagement with credit underwriting and CPU, tracking of loan progress updates, and loan closings.

Execution of Exceptional Client Experience

  • Monitors and executes all tasks required to fulfill customer's service plan/objectives and meet day-to-day inquiries from the client.
  • Resolution of client issues such as deposit and loan servicing, account transfers, customer concerns or account errors, account overdraft processing and communication, wire transfers, etc.
  • Effectively manages and deepens client relationships. This includes but is not limited to providing a superior level of client service in any direct client engagement and identifying "value added" opportunities to cross-sell bank deposit and loan products. Actively identifies and refers business opportunities to internal business units where appropriate including Wealth, Community, Mortgage, Treasury Management and Commercial Banking. Strong working knowledge of these lines of business is required in order to provide confident responses & direction to customers.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintains up-to-date advanced knowledge of Private Banking product offerings and processes, changing ONB policies and procedures, and participates in all required compliance product and service training.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum three years financial services experience preferred; proven track record of opening new accounts and consumer loan origination highly desired.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, superior client service, and the ability to interact with clients and associates at all levels.
  • Ability to interact with clients to obtain information required for loan and deposit product input/documentation as well as obtain routine financial data as needed.
  • Must possess strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and organized, with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize the work; an ability to meet strict deadlines, multi-task, and work with the Private Banker team and other ONB departments.
  • Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
