Private Driver / Chauffeur - CDL & non-CDL

Not your regular driver's position! We’re seeking friendly, professional, customer service-oriented CDL and non-CDL who are responsible for transporting guests between locations, such as vineyards/breweries/distilleries, weddings, airports, hotels, and in and around Northern Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. Driver must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. They must also have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with passengers. Driver must be able to follow a schedule and ensure that passengers arrive at their destination safely and on time utilizing a GPS phone app.

In this position, you will be expected to operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, become familiar with an  ELD driver log program,  maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers. Must be reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. A fun and interesting part-time job! Typically 6 - 20 hours a week.

Non-CDL Drivers start at $15.00-$20.00/hour based on experience

CDL Drivers start at $20.00-$25.00/hour based on experience

Minimum of Class C CDL for CDL drivers

• Must be 25 years old

• Valid driver's license for non-CDL position

• Obtain a Passenger endorsement to license if not already held within 30 days of hire

• Prior passenger experience preferred, but will train.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Clean driving record

• Pass a background check

• Pass Drug and alcohol screening

• Pass DOT physical

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Ability to operate a passenger SUV, van, shuttle bus, and mini-coach bus

• Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner

• Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations

• Assist passengers with loading and unloading of luggage and other items

• Represent the company with a clean, professional appearanceValid driver's license

• Conduct Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition

• Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to Elite Excursions WV management

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle

• Ability to use a mobile phone, Bluetooth, GPS app, Moovs app (will train), and DOT ELD system

• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

• Perform other duties as assigned by management
