Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Software Controls Engineer with minimum 2 years of experience to join our team. It is important to note that this is not an IT job, but rather a position focused on providing custom software and hardware solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members and customers to develop project specifications and quotations, ensuring reliable and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop software using C++ and C#
- Communicate directly with customers to understand their needs and provide ongoing support.
- Engage in multithreaded real-time physical computing, interfacing with data acquisition and control hardware, specialized equipment, and other plant systems (e.g., flowmeters, smoke meters, ECMs, data plate stampers).
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (BSEE, BSME, etc.) or Computer Science is required.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, MFC, and .NET, with professional experience using these technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently or within a team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic system troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with data acquisition and control hardware (e.g., Gantner, Opto22, PLCs) is preferred.
- Experience in interfacing with Electronic Control Modules is a definite plus.
- Some projects may require domestic or international travel for on-site installation and debugging.
