RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role focuses primarily on the process of project development and implementations.
  • Support the development of capital program scope by working with commercial, research and development, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
  • Responsible for developing several scope options to evaluate and choose the best business case for the organization by working with multiple area finance teams.
  • Utilize engineering knowledge to support equipment design by properly preparing requests for proposal documentation, updating equipment specifications, and having detailed equipment design conversations with equipment suppliers.
  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time with multiple timelines and maintain adherence to internal process timelines.
  • Provide electrical, controls system, software, and instrument support to all aspects of the operation.
  • Perform small projects and troubleshoot line control issues on shift with the maintenance team.
  • Experience in programming PLC Logic, HMI, VFD, and Industrial Networks (Allen Bradley).
  • Experience in DeltaV process control, Fieldbus, and Hart Communicator is a plus.
  • Experience in Vision/Inspection Systems such as Keyence, Cognex, and Mettler Toledo Checkweigher.
  • Maintenance of process control systems within the designated area

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 5+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in engineering/controls role or internship or advanced education to achieve level of skill.
  • Mechanical, chemical, and industrial engineering experience. Process piping and wastewater experience.

PREFERRED:

  • A Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred.
  • PMP Certification
