Emergency Room RN

Ability to traige patients efficiently for all ages based on acuity. Experience and knowledgeable of patients of all acuities for areas that include: trauma, observation, rapid medical evaluation and basic care needs of the patient. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation of patient care. Provides safe, efficient, quality care that incorporates the patient’s mental, physical and spiritual well being. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability in collaboration with other health teams to achieve quality patient care. Can assume a delegated leadership role for the resource area assigned.

Current licensure with the State of Kansas RN Licensure and current CPR; ACLS, PALS/ENPC TNCC, within one year of employment. Certifications/Education are required to be up to date on an on-going basis. It is the employee responsibility for keeping current to continue to be eligible to work in the emergency room. It is highly encouraged that nursing staff consider certification for Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN). Past Emergency Room experience preferred.
