Front End Cashier

Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County's largest independently owned natural and organic grocer, is currently seeking to hire an enthusiastic part-time and/or full-time Front End Cashier. Flexible retail availability required, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Handling cash with accuracy and care
• Efficiently performing customer transactions using our POS system
• Cleaning the department
• Retrieving carts from the parking lot
• Stocking and facing products as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have flexible retail availability
• Must be able to communicate clearly with our customers
• A strong interest in natural foods and living
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
• Preferably have at least one year of customer service experience

Physical Demands:

• Constant standing
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Varying temperature conditions (retrieving carts or aiding customers with their groceries out to their vehicle in various weather conditions, stocking coolers/freezers as needed)
