Title: Sales Development Rep - SDR
Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid)
Terms: Full-Time/Permanent

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative with 2 or more years of Sales experience to join our team. You will interact directly with customers throughout all phases of the sales process. You will be responsible for identifying a customer’s needs, pitching relevant products or services, and ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will interact directly with customers throughout all phases of the sales process. You will be responsible for identifying a customer’s needs, pitching relevant products or services, and ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish.
  • Build strong relations with Sales and Marketing teams. This includes; Sales, Sales & Marketing, Sales – Aerospace & Defence (A&D), Sales – Life Sciences and Sales U.K.
  • Generate leads through outbound sales activities and leverage of sales prospecting tools for company profile, individual profile, and target marketing efforts
  • Set qualified introductory meetings for Sales team
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity quotas.
  • Develop strong sales and product knowledge
  • Update lead and prospect activity in CRM to ensure effective lead management
  • Connect with brands / prospects we consider to be relevant to sell to.
  • You will need to be confident as you will be representing the brand. This can include asking questions to pinpoint the best offerings, giving demonstrations or presentations, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • You will be expected to reach out to potential leads through a variety of channels.
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task
  • You’ll work with teams that have a strong track record.
  • The role-holder will be able to solve complex problems.
  • You will work independently, receiving minimal guidance.


Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of Sales experience
  • Be confident in calling outbound to new prospects
  • Be keen to progress in Sales
  • Be motivated by making commission

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Sales-related subject.
  • You are a strong team player with intense focus on customer success.
  • You are detail-oriented, flexible and have a commitment to deadlines.
  • You have experience with technical documentation and strong analytical skills.
  • You have experience developing demonstrations and giving presentations.
  • You enjoy collaborating with others for creative problem solving.
  • You can take initiative and be proactive.
