Job Summary

Price Benowitz LLP is seeking to hire a Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our Personal Injury Team. This attorney will be representing plaintiffs with workers’ compensation matters in the metropolitan area. This attorney will work directly with the head of the litigation department and senior attorneys to ensure that our clients are provided the representation they deserve.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience of all aspects of Workers’ Compensation, with the ability to handle a full caseload of workers' compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Must be an active member of and in good standing with the DC Bar (MD and VA Bar in addition to DC will be highly preferred).
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English, to represent clients in both languages highly preferred.
  • Work independently and manage a high volume of cases.
  • Advise clients on legal matters and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Experience with depositions and trials.
  • Prepare for and attend trials.
  • Skilled in researching and analyzing legal issues.
  • Skilled in drafting documents, pleadings, motions and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel and courts.
  • Must have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for seeking justice for those who have been injured.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, stellar organizational skills and the ability to not only communicate well but to fully grasp real-life implications that these cases have on our clients.
