Responsibilities:

• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as preparing and analyzing samples, conducting experiments, and recording data
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
• Assist with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Document experimental procedures and results accurately
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Contribute to the development of new laboratory techniques and protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a lab technician
• Strong experience working in a clean environment and adhering to strict cleanliness standards
• Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and equipment operation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ASTM test standards related to wood or metal
