Cafe Supervisor $17.00/HR

As Supervisor of the Cafe, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:

As Supervisor of the Cafe, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
- Provide training, development and supervision of Cafe team members.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Schedule staff to ensure adequate and consistent levels of service.
- Maintain Cafe inventory and prepare requisitions to replenish supplies.
- Update and maintain all Cafe controls, procedures and checklists.
- Assist guests by helping take orders and suggesting daily specials.
- Prepare foods and drinks such as fruit and coffee drinks or smoothies.
- Arrange food in the pastry case and inform kitchen when items need to be restocked.
- Wipe spills and maintain cleanliness of all appliances, espresso machine and counter space throughout the shift.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- Previous experience in similar role.
- Ability to work the hours of 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.
- Knowledgeable in preparing lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and other specialty coffees and teas.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependability and regular attendance.
- Must be willing to learn work in other areas of the hotel to assist as needed.
- Must have or be able to obtain food safety handling certificate.
- Ability to use point of service software.
