Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. Ideal candidates will have LMS administrator experience and be (or will be) familiar with managing users, loading courses, updating materials, generating reports and providing support to learners. The LMS administrator will serve as the central point of contact for the Learning & Development (L&D) team, coordinating learning projects, sourcing external content, and working closely with Instructional Designers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and update courses as needed.
Energy Solutions' headquarters is located in Oakland, CA and we prioritize applicants in close proximity for a hybrid working environment (reporting at least once a week to the office). While we welcome applications from candidates across the United States for a remote opportunity, it is essential that they are capable of adhering to Pacific Time working hours.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as primary LMS administrator, loading courses, managing users, generating reports and providing support to learners
- Assist with employee training plans and tracking employee training completions
- Develops agendas and supports communications for L&D initiatives including sending pre- and post-learning event communications, reminders, surveys, and evaluations
- Assign all required training and work with managers to ensure timely completion
- Administer training and seek continuous feedback to ensure an exceptional and impactful learning experience
- Partner with the Human Resources onboarding team to manage the onboarding process and tracking within the LMS
- Revise and update training materials in response to changes in procedures and/or based on needs analysis
- Monitoring the help channel
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Psychology, Adult Education, Communication, closely related field or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience organizing, scheduling, and managing multiple training initiatives simultaneously
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as administrator for a Learning Management System, Absorb LMS experience preferred
- Ability to connect, engage and collaborate effectively with the Energy Solutions team, business stakeholders and external vendors
- Demonstrated skills in professional communications, calendar management, and facilitating live remote events
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to coordinate multiple training events across several time zones
- High proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel - skills tests will be required during the interview process)
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and develop training tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information in a fast-paced environment
Salary DOE: $65,000 to $85,000/Annually
