POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Analyst position is responsible for outside supplier pricing analysis, vendor support, profitability analysis, inventory allocations & direction and market intelligence for the company's supply and trading business. The major functions of this position also include providing critical information on an accurate and timely basis. This position is based in Belle Vernon, PA, the role is hybrid and allows part time work from home.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Support sales and trading by managing third party vendor contracts, allocating loads to maximize profitability and monitoring daily activity. Manage outside supplier pricing data on a daily basis to ensure accuracy for execution on sales deals. Manage the Daily Rack Report information to communicate all supply pricing to the company.
• Manage inventory allocations in DTN TABS and send daily direction to sales team to ensure optimal performance of the distillate supply system.
• Manage bid process projects, third party term purchase deals and long term deals and provide recommendations to trading and sales.
• Ensure system maximization during evening sales quoting system for pulling best delivered options once price changes occur at 6pm.
• Work with Distillate trader on Bids. Develop a freight and cost database that we can pull when bids come up with very little turnover time. Keep the costs updated as tariffs change and other costs vary. Also run all analysis related to bids for use in offer.
• Handle trouble shooting on inventory and billing to ensure all loads accounted for daily.
• Represent Supply in development projects for DTN TABS and DTN related projects. Monitor TABS to see real time loading information and address issues as they arise.
• Manage product outage system to further streamline and optimize the overall supply system. Initiate communication to vendor to understand product availability and outage occurrence details.
• Continually develop best practices to maximize the position and role.
• Build business relationships with third party vendors and customers. Act as liaison between supply and accounting on cost information. Recommend cost process improvements.
• Responsible for freight and cost database to ensure little turnover time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 1 to 2 years sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational/analytical skills with the ability to give presentations, listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing, and provide relevant and timely information to management, colleagues, etc.
• Intermediate Computer Skills: Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer & MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability and desire to work in a team-centered environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
