We are currently seeking an Electric Vehicle (EV) Account Manager located in the Pacific Northwest (Washington or Oregon) to join our Distributed Energy Resources team. As an EV Account Manager, you will have a broad impact on the EV market and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for North American Program Administrators and other national leaders in clean transportation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain organizational relationships with EV Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), dealers, and industry groups.
  • Travel to dealer locations with the goal of driving incentive program participation, providing EV education, building rapport, and solidifying connections
  • Serve as a go-to resource for and conduit between dealer and OEM participants and Program leads
  • Track market activity and developments to develop in-depth knowledge and ability to accurately predict market activity
  • Contribute to and support outreach plans for new and existing programs
  • Analyze program-level participation statistics, market and economic data, and regulatory activity to determine sales potential and monitor performance trends
  • Contribute to the development of trade ally and market actor relationships - managing and building out best practice documentation relating to trade ally and market actor relationships
  • Develop familiarity with public data resources and finding relevancy to Energy Solutions' strategic interests, and report development as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred ideally in an energy-related, environmental policy, environmental studies, engineering or business administration discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience or tenure in related position(s) with Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience or tenure in a related position(s) in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness to conduct frequent business travel regionally in the Pacific Northwest and occasional travel to conferences (20-50%)
  • Ability to build relationships with car dealers and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) and be comfortable through phone calls and face to face meetings
  • Familiarity with the EV, automotive, and/or EV charging infrastructure industries
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and present in primary role
  • Excellent business acumen and communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis (using Excel) a plus
  • Ability to work and thrive independently in a hybrid or remote workplace
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Salesforce to track activity
  • Located in the Pacific Northwest (Washington or Oregon) or are willing to relocate

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in clean transportation or in a sales role
  • Experience at a car dealer or with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) especially sought after

Salary DOE: $65k - $75k / Annually
