Position: Senior Lead Recruiter

Reporting to: Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: Bentonville, AR (Onsite)

Art and Wellness Enterprises (AWE) is seeking a skilled, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as Senior Lead Recruiter. AWE supports operating non-profits founded by AliceWalton including the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, Art Bridges, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, and Heartland Whole Health Institute.

About the Position

As the Senior Lead Recruiter, you will play a vital role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM). In this role, you will specialize in recruiting faculty members and administrative staff. While your primary focus will be on AWSOM, you will also engage in talent acquisition efforts across other entities within our ecosystem.

This role will collaborate with various stakeholders across the ecosystem including hiring manager, search committees and human resources. The role demands a proactive and agile approach to keep up with the rapid pace of the business and ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates.

What you will do

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and selection process for positions within assigned functional area
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and perform in-depth interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process
  • Plan and execute the interview process by communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to candidates, hiring managers, cross-functional partners, and other stakeholders throughout the selection process
  • Prepare and extend job offers to successful candidates, negotiating terms and conditions as needed, and managing the offer acceptance process
  • Advise, educate, and consult with hiring managers on recruiting process, strategy, and market conditions
  • Maintain and analyze recruitment data to track key performance metrics, such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate conversion rates, and provide regular reports to management
  • Identify, build, and manage collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure recruitment practices align with legal requirements and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications required for your success

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in recruiting, particularly in an academic setting
  • Familiarity with medical school recruitment processes and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Proven strategic experience in full lifecycle recruiting within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with candidates and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple open positions simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong sourcing skills including sourcing of passive talent
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS). Workday experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, remaining adaptable and resilient

  • Physical demands: Position requires utilizing a computer and telephone for prolonged periods of time, good eye/hand coordination, verbal, and written conversation with others, and lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.
  • Work environment: Work will be performed in an office environment full-time (Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.) The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, may be necessary to support operational needs.
