Position Summary

This leader role supports our company's purpose by leading production solid-dose packaging planning and scheduling activities for the Omnicare Enterprise and delivering innovative solutions to support Omnicare Operations.

Lead team that plans and develops Master Production Schedule to support the Omnicare Enterprise solid-oral dose packaging demand representing approximately 47% of entire Omnicare Rx Script demand. This role works cross functionally with CVS DC Operations, CVS Retail Inventory Management, CVS Rx Merchandising and Omnicare Operations teams to determine product line offering, manage Master Item requirements, and manage packaged inventory across the CVS Supply Chain to support the Omnicare Enterprise. This role serves as the subject-matter expert (SME) for inventory and work order systems (SAP) and DSCSA requirements working collaboratively with Enterprise teams to support the Vangard Packaging Facility. This role manages supplier relationships for packaging and other related materials. Critical thinking, impacting, and influencing skills are needed to perform role requirements. This role is responsible to plan, coordinate, direct, implement, and monitor projects related to Omnicare packaging product Line growth, inventory, and customer needs working closely with multiple Enterprise teams.

Required Qualifications
  • 8 + years relevant experience
  • 5 + years proficiency in MS Excel


Preferred Qualifications
  • Past pharmaceutical industry-related experience preferred
  • 10+ years inventory management experience in production environment with a proven track record of success.
  • 10+ years production scheduling experience.
  • SAP Proficiency
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical packaging industry and related component suppliers.
  • Experience in cGMP environments.
  • Deep understanding of pharmacy LTC operations, field teams, supply chain, and Enterprise inventory management.
  • Ability to understand / interpret data and make sound business decisions based on facts and experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills including planning and adherence to an established schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate findings clearly.
  • Database/Microsoft access design and utilization experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Planning/Inventory Management in Operations (Manufacturing/Packaging) Environment
  • Production Scheduling Experience (multi-line, multi-sub processes)
  • Ability to manage and execute under pressure with competing priorities.
  • Deep / critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education

B.S. Degree in business, statistics, financial, inventory management, or mathematics related field and 8 years related experience or similar combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $119,300.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
