Position Overview: As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students through telepractice. This position is ideal for a passionate professional looking to make a positive impact in the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Provide virtual counseling and support services to students as needed.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with school staff and parents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Virginia license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in conducting virtual assessments and providing telepractice services.
• Strong understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and special education processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
• Pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
