Senior Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Analyst Washington, DC (100% Remote) Direct Hire/Permanent Placement Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Salary: 180K Responsibilities Our client is looking for a Senior IV&V Analyst to join their team! When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why our client need's you, an experienced Analyst who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our client's team releases the best software possible. As an Analyst on our client's Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Team, you’ll use your experience to work with testers, developers, and cybersecurity engineers to evaluate enterprise software deployments for the Department of Defense (DoD). You’ll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to automate testing. You’ll also broaden your experience in large scale, multi-cloud enterprises and gain skills in new areas such as automation and cloud computing while sharing your testing experience with your team. Experience Required: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration as Code (CaC) & associated tools (Terraform & Ansible). Proficient in software testing principles in IaC. Proficient in automated testing. Experience with multi-tenant & multi-cloud environments. Knowledge of AWS Services & AWS Security Practices. Proficient in Bash & Python scripting languages. Experience with Git version control. Experience with CI/CD. Bachelors Degree #M2
