Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and leading continuous improvement initiatives across various departments within the organization. This role will play a critical part in identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
  • Analyze current processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of continuous improvement projects to senior management.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by fostering innovation, creativity, and accountability.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering. Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and other continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to follow through on initiatives to achieve results.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, project management software, and data analysis tools.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.

Salary range: $90,000-$100,000 annually. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
