Clinical Nutrition Manager I - Full-time

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT.  Part of the Dartmouth Health system, this 35-bed community hospital is located ~15 miles southeast of Woodstock, VT and less than one hour from Killington or Okemo ski areas.  Selected candidate will average ~75% direct patient care and 25% management and have the option to work one virtual day/week. This is a great opportunity for a new RD with an interest in management, experience not required!  

 

No Weekends!

The successful candidate will:

• manage the clinical nutrition program at Mt. Ascutney hospital;
• provide direct patient care to all patients;
• supervise a Nutrition Assistant and Dietary Aide;
• assist in supervising the food service workers as needed;
• drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
• provide training and education to the food service staff, as well as interdisciplinary healthcare professionals; and
• be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the depart on hospital wide committees.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

[Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required]

 

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
