Job Summary
Athena Specialty Group is now hiring for a new Account Executive to join our team! We are a Mobile Wound Care Provider of 30+ Nurse Practitioners and 15+ LPN’s who operate in the Pensacola area. We are in growth mode - expanding nationally into other states - and building out an amazing sales team with a fun, hardworking culture.
Athena is looking for a driven candidate that has strong existing relationships in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Primary Care Offices, Specialists, Home Health, and/or Assisted Living Facilities.
This position is primarily responsible for marketing and promotion of Athena’s comprehensive wound care services throughout their aligned geography. This position will work directly with experienced leadership to develop and execute specific strategies and tactics to achieve sales quota. The applicant must be highly motivated, flexible, and sales/service oriented.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conducts daily sales calls to various accounts, doctors and other sales targets in assigned accounts as determined by representative and marketing/sales leadership.
- Creates and maintains call plans to qualify new and maintain existing referrals to grow the business
- Enters call plan and outcomes into CRM system
- Partners with the account directors and clinical leadership to ensure awareness and benefits provided by the Athena clinical team.
- Collaborates with case managers, referral sources, home health agencies and discharge staff to coordinate patient transition
- Assist with connection for follow-up information from Athena clinical staff to case managers after patient discharge
- Identifies on-site educational opportunities with account staff
- Provides continuing education programs as needed to on-site account and case managers
- Identifies and develops strategic relationships within the institution that will enhance patient care
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in patient referral process
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License is required
Education And/or Experience
- Two years of medical sales or home health marketing experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
- Successful completion of Athena’s training and competency assessments
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers
- Learn and comply with all Department of Transportation requirements determined for use of Athena owned vehicles
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
- Geographically located within the assigned territory

Compensation
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
- Annual compensation is based on a 40 hour week
- This position is commission eligible
