Job Description
One of our terrific public sector clients in the Breckenridge, CO area has an immediate direct hire opportunity for an onsite Administrative Support role for the IT department! This will be onsite initially and and will go hybrid (1-2 days per week remote) after 3-4 months of training. This will be a full time role, M-F, 8-5PM.
The hourly rate range for this role is $26-$33/hr depending on experience and skillset level. This organization offers excellent benefits!
This proactive, customer-oriented, team member serves as administrative support to the Information Systems Director, as well as supporting administrative needs for the department. This position is responsible for administrative duties which aid in the efficient operation of the three service areas in the department including Operations, Applications Development, and GIS.
Responsibilities:
Typical activities would include any combination of administrative support and coordination for the Information Systems Department. Areas of focus for this position might include general office support, monthly and annual budgeting assistance, departmental purchasing, invoice processing, vendor contact management, purchasing card processing, maintenance/support contract coordination, assisting technical staff with documentation, and some support of the organization's Internet and intranet websites.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience/education in Microsoft Office software, working in an office environment, and a good knowledge of standard office procedures required
- Valid Colorado Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle at time of hire and throughout employment.
- General office procedures, equipment, and software applications; strong typing skills, intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook and Excel), Internet, Intranet, Scanner application, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and other miscellaneous programs and applications.
- Communicating effectively and appropriately; apply writing and speaking skills; learn and apply organization and Information Systems Department policies and procedures; be a strong team member; provide a high level of customer service; exhibit patience and composure in difficult situations; take initiative and follow-through on projects; to produce accurate work; to detect and correct errors, to perform tasks simultaneously when necessary; work cooperatively in a team environment; display self-motivation, initiative and act in a dependable and mature manner in relationships with others; and represent the department at all times with a courteous, helpful, and professional attitude in all telephone, written and in-person contact.
