Estimators coordinate with potential Clients (customers) to help screen incoming leads and arrange for timely paint proposal visits. During a proposal, our Estimators learn what the Customer desires and generates a work plan to suit their needs. The work plan, or proposal, needs to be written in a manner such that all other team members can readily understand the intent and project scope. We always present the project proposal and ask for the sale in person, but if we don't win the project in that moment then... Follow up is of paramount importance and our Estimators must set time aside every day to communicate with Customers, relentlessly.

Upon winning projects, our Estimators coordinate details with the Office and Project Management staff in order to plan for upcoming work with a focus on catering to the Client's needs. Our Estimators maintain organized records and make full use of CRMs and other tools provided to them. Estimators convey work details to the Project Manager who owns the project and meets them onsite for the pre-project walk. Estimators introduce the team to the Client and facilitates a discussion about the planned work.  Lastly, Estimators are expected to follow up with their Clients regularly as well as prospect for new connections and leads.

All Fresh Coat Estimators:

• Dress, speak, and present themselves in a professional manner (don't worry, we dress comfortably)
• Maintain records, including CRMs and other documents, in accordance with Management’s instructions.
• Paint areas as instructed by maintenance supervisor or property manager, utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.
• Follow the companies standard operating procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
• Familiarize themselves with paint industry jargon, codes, laws, etc...
• Follow up relentlessly with potential customers.
• Steadily aids in the further development of job specific procedural documentation.
• May assist with project management, as needed.
• Regularly attends networking assignments, as assigned.
