Job Responsibilities and Duties:

·         As the Preschool Principal at Madame Curie School of Science and Technology, you will collaborate with the Owners, Director of Operations, and administrative team to oversee educational programs. Responsibilities include:

·         Working cooperatively with Owners and Director of Operations.

·         Serving as chief administrator, overseeing curriculum implementation, faculty supervision, and budget administration.

·         Work as a lead teacher when necessary.

·         Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and conducting public information programs.

·         Developing and maintaining financial plans, ensuring compliance with regulations.

·         Supervising staff, including recruiting, training, and evaluating.

The principal is expected to be present from 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on school days.

Lesson Plans and Schedule:

·         Lesson plans must be submitted by noon on Fridays.

·         Preschool follows Loudoun/Fairfax County Public Schools' holiday schedule, with some exceptions.

Qualifications:

·         We are looking for a dynamic person who wants to learn and grow in preschool leadership. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. At least 3 years Lead Teacher experience with a bachelor's degree is required.

·         Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification required.

·         Knowledge of employment laws and completion of health and safety training.

·         Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and Internet usage.

·         Two references from current job, one managerial and one coworker are required.

·         Complete background checks and attend mandatory meetings and events.

·         Physical requirements: Ability to function independently, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
