Carpenter / Laborer

We're looking for expereinced carpenters that want to work in climate controlled environment helping build out very high end custom trailers for the film industry and disaster response industry. Experience or very clear understanding with wood framing is required. There will be a proficiency test involved. 

You will play a crucial role in constructing and finishing custom trailers. This position requires precision craftsmanship, a good understanding of construction materials, and the ability to read and follow blueprints and design plans. Your expertise will help ensure that each trailer is built to our high standards of quality and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, following blueprints and design plans.
• Measure and cut materials to ensure a perfect fit, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Assist in the design and fabrication of custom components for trailers.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of the final product.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on custom projects preferred.
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus.
