Maintenance

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform maintenance throughout the entire processing plant (except vehicles) to include instrumentation & electrical work throughout the plant, work on conveyors, pumps, pressers or any machine that breaks down and would require maintenance.

· Rebuild or repair equipment in the maintenance shop such as pumps. An overhead or hydraulic lift or forklift is available.

· Examples of repairs include work performed in the mill shaft on drags, screws, etc. and fish pump repairs such as replacing parts or welding. Approximately once a week, repairs on maintenance in the hammer mill replacing belts and/or broken screws in the feeder.

· Maintain cleanliness of work area.

· Willing to learn multiple plant operator positions.

· Completes all tasks safely.

· Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, or environmental excursions to your supervisor or a member of the management team immediately.

· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· High Scholl Diploma or equivalent preferred

· Experience in food or fish processing or manufacturing helpful

· Excellent work ethic

· Ability to work overtime, weekend and rotating shifts as required

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· Work in heat, cold, rain etc

· Be able to climb stairs 50’ height
