Job Description
Join our expanding organization as a reliable Driver and play a vital role in our moving team. At MG Moving Service, we highly appreciate our drivers for their exceptional work ethic and professional demeanor. In this demanding role, you will be responsible for both driving and executing moving tasks, ensuring the secure and prompt delivery of our goods to our valued customers.
Compensation:$16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:- Drive vehicles weighing up to 26,000 pounds
- Handle freight loading and unloading
- Ensure secure and organized load packing
- Maintain driving and delivery records
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to DOT delivery and rest schedules
- Park trucks and buses safely
- Navigate routes using GPS
- Drive safely and follow regulations
- Use basic technology
- Adhere to MG Moving Services Policies and Procedures
- Candidate needs a valid driver's license
- Background check, drug screen, and driving record required
- Dependable attendance is necessary
- Flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Candidate must lift up to 50 pounds
- Preference for operating electric lift, hand truck, and pallet jack
